| | I am an open minded individual that believes in staying positive as much as possible. I practice a balanced and healthy lifestyle (90% of the time), hard to pass up a cookout and a beer in the summer. Or a night out listening to some music. I try to make the health club 1-3 times a week & enjoy playing Racquetball, Working out, and occasionally Bicycling or Running. I am a work in progress and hope to find someone that is as well.
I enjoy live music venues. I listen to just about any type of music depending on mood and time of day, with a preference for the Blues and Classic Rock. I would say I am very spontaneous and might go to a movie, dinner, a ride to nowhere at the drop of a hat. I have an interest in finances and taxes, I enjoy working with numbers and helping others. I volunteering preparing taxes for less fortunate families during the season. When time and budget allow, I travel different parts of the country to catch professional drag races. The smell of Nitromethane and cars running over 300 MPH is quite the adrenalin rush. The occasional trip to Southern California or Florida when it's cold in Chicago doesn't hurt either! I guess sunshine and warm weather could be considered an addiction for me. I have pondered the thought of relocating to the Gulf Coast of Florida or Southern Florida some day.
I am respectful, intuitive, upbeat, open minded & with out sounding full of myself, I believe I possess above average intelligence. I would consider myself laid back & considerably more energetic than many in my age group. I am passionate and become immersed when I find something I like. I hope to find someone with similar qualities. I have been divorced twice and would like to think those experiences have help me to grow. I think it important to take some time daily in the classroom of silence to think about past, present and future.
I would like to find that open minded, glass half full type of individual. Someone that might be a bit adventurous and outgoing. Someone that believes life is too short for drama & stress.
