| | Looking for a laid back girl with a great sense of humour that likes to drink beer? Well boys...this may be it. I was born and raised in Ottawa and am currently living in the market. To describe myself, I would say that I am a highly independent, hardworking professional who is very active, outgoing, and sometimes even funny. I feel that I am a very well rounded person that can find common interests with just about anyone.
With that being said I work hard to play hard. On my days off I can be found at my family's cottage, snowboarding, cooking up a storm, drinking a bottle of wine (or two) with friends, hitting up a yoga class, checking out some live music, or wondering around the market. I listen to a variety of music and still enjoy classic artists such as The Beatles and the Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tom Petty but over the years have developed a liking for Matt Costa, Broken Social Scene, and the Slip. When there is no music in the house I am usually listening to CBC radio. So yes, I am honest and warning you that I may be a little bit of a nerd.
After living on the west coast on and off for a few years I never really lost that laid back positive outlook on life. In my eyes the glass is always half full. People even strangers always comment that I am always smiling. I am looking for someone who shares my love for the outdoors, is motivated, intelligent and active. Furthermore, I think I am looking for someone who is caring, down to earth, and has the ability to think outside the box. People who present new ideas intrigue me so I guess I like a little bit of a challenge. Ideally I am also looking for someone who likes to travel. I love to submerse myself into new cultures by people watching or finding the special place where the locals hang out. I have spent a lot of time in Europe and am ready to explore new parts of the world and am going to Asia in February.
I need to be with someone who will always try new things especially when it comes to traveling, food, and wine. So I guess I am going to stop writing now because I am starting to get quite specific... |
