For starters thanks for looking at my profile.

I live near some of the most spectacular country in the US, and love interacting. I enjoy camping, fishing, and hiking. I have a great sense of humor (as life is not worth living without laughter), and try stay abreast of national and local news. I vote in every election (usually for the guy who doesn't win, so don't try to blame me, I did my best), read voraciously (just finishing Elmore Leonard's 'Road Dogs'), and play music professionally.

I am politically open-minded, basing my choices on stands, rather than a party endorsement. I try to stay active, and want to take advantage of the great summer we are haing here in Alaska. This summer has been full of travel, between playing festivals and personal exploration. How can you pass up something like the Talkeetna Moose Dropping Festival? For the uninitiated, there are no moose injured in this celebration, and to those of you outside of Alaska, the moose dropping reference is for what the moose drop, rather than dropping a moose. We have a thriving industry turning moose crap into swizzle sticks, earrings, and other recycled crap for the tourists...amazing what people will buy.

I enjoy all types of music (NOTE: rap and hip/hop do not qualify as music in my book), reading, good food, good coffee, good beer (when you rarely drink and always in moderation you can afford the good stuff), and especially, good company.

I have a Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree, and a Bachelor's in Sociology (real marketable, let me know when you see the help wanted ad for 'sociologist wanted'). I am financially secure and have lived in Alaska for 19 years.
