***UPDATE*** rgray1176 on Yahoo IM****I am not a knight in shining armor or Prince Charming, what I am is a strong, honest man looking for an attractive, intelligent, uninhibited woman for friendship and possible LTR, I think I am an attractive man, look at my pics and judge for yourself, they are all current. I am successful in my endeavors, I have a career instead of just a job. I am college educated and pursing a post graduate degree. On the other hand, I am also a biker and ride with a local MC. Work, school and the Club take up a lot of my time, and I would like to meet someone that can understand that, who is not only attractive but someone that I can talk to and share things with. Chemistry and passion are important, I am looking for a girlfriend but I am not going to jump into a relationship with the first attractive woman I meet. I enjoy action movies and SCIFI/Fantasy. I like to cook but hate cleaning up after wards. I enjoy clubs and dancing but am just as comfortable hanging out on my back deck with a beer or a cup of coffee. I get a kick out of a good conversation...you know one where both people get to talk about things that interest them. I love dogs and miss mine ( the ex took them ) I was raised old south, so I still open doors for a woman...an independent woman that doesn't mind that would be a plus. Politically I am middle of the road, a mix of blue dog democrat and moderate republican. I am not a religious person and will not go to church, probably because I have spent some time studying religion. Life changes us constantly and I feel that I am at least a little bit of a different person each day, hopefully for the better.
I guess everyone has their perfect ideal of what they want in the person they are looking for. I don't expect to meet a playboy model here. I do have standards though, I would like to meet someone that is height and weight proportionate, anywhere from thin to a few extra pounds in good shape. I have a weakness for black haired women and sexy dress, Think of the Travis Tritt song, " I love trashy women" LOL. That being said I have no objection to blondes or brunettes, I think your hair color should be what best suits you at the time. Personality is really important...should be a fun person, open minded and able to talk about more than the current Hollywood gossip.
I spent 20 years in the Navy, mostly in Virginia and retired, I then spent a few years on a research ship, did some teaching and some analyst work before I decided to move home a few years ago. Now I am a manager at a large defense contractor, with work all over the country but based here at Bragg. You should know that I have 2 daughters age 21 and 17 and they are my heart and pride. I would enjoy company for dinner and a movie, coffee at Starbucks or a long ride on my Harley. I also enjoy the occasional night out to shoot pool and dance, but please, don't ask me to sing Karoke, I have yet to meet anyone I dislike enough to let them hear me sing. I enjoy the beach but after spending most of my life on the ocean, I find I have a preference for the mountains and particularly enjoy riding my bike in the Blue Ridge.
