I am a hopeless romantic. I'm the type of guy who brings flowers for no reason, who would fill a room with candles, who notices the color of your eyes first. I wake up happy and have a great sense of humor. I go with the flow and don't let things get me too worked up.

I'm a highly motivated and talented individual (and humble... no, really). I am a professional photogapher. At 37 I am old enough to be self-motivated. I am comfortable with who I am... a great dad, loyal friend, and responsible business person. I love adventure and excitement, but also realize the reality of adulthood is making sure the kids are taken care of, the bills are paid, and the one you love is made to feel special. I own my own home and have custody of my two sons. The highlight of any day is when the kids come up, give me a hug, and say "I love you dad!"

So here's what I like to do: I took up weightlifting earlier this year and have been lifting 3 days a week and doing cardio on the non-weight days. I'm a huge Cowboys fan and can't wait for the season to start. I'm not ashamed to admit that for 3-1/2 hours every Sunday you'll find me watching the Cowboy game. During the summer I like jet skiing on Lake Granbury, swimming, and going to Six Flags. A big passion of mine is scuba diving which I have done since 1991. Some of the places I have been diving are Cozumel, Belize, Grand Cayman, Cocos Island, and the Texas Flower Gardens. I have also taken non-diving trips to Spain, British Columbia, New York, Los Angeles, Vegas, New Orleans, and many other places in the US. My big hobby this past year was creating a 50,000 light animated Christmas display that was computer synchronized to music.

I am a big movie buff and usually go to the movies every weekend during the summer blockbuster season. I enjoy most every movie genre, but I always love a good comedy. Some of my favorites are The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Wedding Crashers, Stripes, and Christmas Vacation. My favorites this summer were The Hangover, The Proposal, and The Ugly Truth. On TV I'm not ashamed to admit that I love reality programs like American Idol, Survivor, and Rock of Love (all those cheesy VH1 reality shows are funny). I also like Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and Two and a Half Men. Musically I've always been a fan of 70s classic rock and the fun 80s music I grew up with, but I enjoy almost any music.

I used to have a picture in my mind of the woman I am looking for, but I realize that when I find the right one she will undoubtedly be completely different from what I thought I wanted. I prefer a woman who is smart, somewhat in shape, has a good sense of humor, and doesn't thrive on drama. Bottom line, I'm looking for a woman who I can love and who will love me in return. Honesty and accountability are important to me. I'm not into games... I am a romantic who is hoping to find a serious relationship, although I understand that doesn't happen overnight.

I know internet dating can be intimidating (especially if your date doesn't look like their picture), so lunch seems to be a great way to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere. After that, a day at the lake is fun, and then go from there. I prefer intimate settings over loud bars, but I am really looking forward to going to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar!!!
