I am a young man living in the great Marble City, and I am looking for a spirited young lady to date and go places with. I'm twenty-four years old and I am looking for a woman between the ages of eighteen and twenty-nine. I like to go places that are unfamiliar to me, and meet new people; that 'back-and-forth' thing is what I look for in life. My main interests in choosing this site for a personals ad is because I see so much dishonesty in the real world that I mean to get around all that with the internet. I want to get to know a gal on here first and then meet her in person, and let the rest fall where it may. In my spare time (which is all too uncommon these days) I like to write and cook. I have been told I put together a marvelous spread, but that is for each person to decide for themselves. The writing though...I keep that a little more under the radar. My other hobbies are sailing, hiking, camping, working out, talking, and pub-crawling.

If it's the first date, well, nothing short of perfect will suffice. I think the picnic (a tried and true classic) is the way to go. Dinner and movie is so lame, there is no time to get to know a person at either venue. The other best idea is to go to an event of some kind, like a wine tasting, something that the two interested parties could do to show off their experience or talents. Or a sporting event (if the lady like that, rather).
