I'm one of those girls...girl next door, smart girl, independent girl, sweet, sassy girl but not a pushover. I guess I'd be a "catch," but these days: a girl (probably a woman by now, I AM 31 afterall) who can handle life on her own, worries about getting left alone. I don't need a man to take care of me, but I WANT a man to care for me. I can be so much fun; often sparkling and charming, down to earth, warm, affectionate toward the right people, sometimes pretty silly and very loyal. Genuine feelings grow over time though, so unless you are the rare bird who can make me fall immediately, patience is necessary.


Aspirations: I want someone to come on into my life and make it better. I climbed Mt. Whitney about 2 months ago, I'm thinking about completing my Master's Degree and I'm cute. Seriously, I don't have a problem meeting guys but not the right one yet. A mix of confidence, compassion, humility and intelligence often just slays me. =o)

What makes me unique? See above...ha ha. I often describe myself as a brain trapped in the body of a cheerleader.

On a first date, I like conversation. We are strangers, so let's become friends at least and have a little chat. An ideal date: one in which we can't stop talking; one in which we find the time flying and start thinking, "Wow, I'd like to see this person again." Second dates should be more active. Let's go watch a baseball game, go hiking, walk the dog, rock climb, something. I'm open to suggestions.
