As my headline says, I am a pretty low maintenance girl. I love to watch baseball (GO CARDINALS!) both live and on TV, I am a huge Jimmy Buffett fan but will listen to all types of music, and I have come to realize that it is the small things that make life meaningful. During the summer months I spend a lot of time with friends and family, going to concerts, and just being outside. I would say that I am willing to do just about anything once, but I don't see anything like bungee jumping or sky diving in my future, so perhaps that's a little too far...

So what am I looking for? Well for right now I am looking for someone who doesn't mind starting out as friends. I am looking for someone that is kind, intelligent, secure in both who he is as a person and where he is in life (in other words, 35 year old frat boys need not apply). He must have a passion for life, and that includes all things in life- both small and life changing. He has to have a clear vision of who he is and what he wants. I am at a point in my life where I wake up everyday and LOVE what I do (I teach), and right now I couldn't ask for a better job. I am honest and sarcastic, and appreciate the same in others, but most of all the ability to make people smile and feel good about themselves and others is most important.


Okay, so that's the serious stuff... the perfect guy would be someone who can appreciate a girl who describes herself as a "beer and shot girl" on most days, but can also be ready on a moment's notice for fine wine and dining. I have three dogs who I treat like my children, so an animal lover is an ABSOLUTE must. Additionally, I love to travel and try to do so as much as possible... homebodies need not apply. I am eclectic as far as music, movies, and books are concerned, and I try to be open minded about most other things.

Finally, the perfect match would be someone who is kind and makes me laugh. Sometimes I can be too serious, and I need to find that balance in life. I have a fairly dry, sarcastic sense of humor and there is certainly something to be said about someone who can "get" that.
