I am a Martial Artist first and foremost and have trained in Kenpo Karate for over 16 years. I love cinema and quality television, rare as it may be. I'm definitely a sci-fi person, and am looking for someone who is the same or can appreciate it. Must love horror movies (or not mind watching them with me on occasion) :) I love riding the craziest rollercoasters, and would love someone to scream along with me ;)

Also, I'm devoted to taking trips to all the places I want to visit before I turn 35 (Last year was Niagara Falls. This year – Europe) or searching for some new type of adventure.

I work as a counselor at a community mental health agency. I recently completed my Master's at CSUN. My parents are from Cuba, but I was born in the U.S. I went to Catholic school up until college, but I don't really practice. I do consider myself moral and a spiritual person, but am not that into the Church right now. I love going to bizarre little shops that sell odd ends, used book and video stores. I want to see more shows and events than I do. I long to explore the worlds oddities and corner stores.

I've found that an initial meeting at a coffeshop or something similar is good to see if we click, then maybe dinner and drinks. Or the trusty old classic dinner-and-a-movie? Or something more interesting? Maybe we could head out to the Renaissance Fair and practice our medieval English? Or we could drive around randomly and look for interesting shops? Maybe a trip to Hollywood? Hah, we should put them all in a hat and pick one :)
