I have worked at a number of professions and travelled the world, but I have never been happier than these last five years as a nurse. Caring for moms and babies is a great joy. I love to travel, but of the do-it-yourself variety. No cruise ships for me. Life is short and i want to find a partner to share its wonders. I garden, sometimes creat art, participate in a men's support group, read the Post everyday and the NYT on Tuesdays (science section), walk my dog, and interact with my daughter. Fatherhood is the best thing that ever happened to me. I call myself a Unitarian, but it is of the atheist variety -- reality is awe inspiring enough for me.

I'm looking for someone to respect, to laugh with, to care for, to share ups and downs. The qualities I seek are a woman with, a sense of humor, intelligence, and a caring heart.

First date, its got to be talk. Talk over coffee, talk over food, talk while walking around Roosevelt Island. No expectations, just the neeting of two exploring people.
