After being staffed on a project in Manhattan and living in a hotel for about a year now, I've decided to take the plunge and move up here. I'm currently condo shopping with what little knowledge of the city I have, but I thought I'd try this online thing to help with my transition to the city.

About me: I cheated on my state capitals test in 4th grade, but besides that, I'll pass any background check. I consider myself to be intellectual and very ambitious. I have a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, so there's no need to read any further if you're super easily offended. However, I was raised by my parents to be a gentleman and I pride myself on being chivalrous and treating ladies with respect (I even kill bugs), while still being fun. While I can appreciate and respect a girl who's really independent, I definitely like to dote on the girl in my life and spoil her. I definitely appreciate the finer things in life, so I love fine dining, going to the Met, etc., but I'm equally content microwaving some spaghettios (that's right, I said spaghettios) and watching trashy reality tv. So I'm up for whatever.

So, I'm at the point in my life where I'm working hard, having fun while I do, and I'm looking for someone to join me. However, while I'm definitely open to the idea of a relationship, I'm very laid back when I get to know people and I never have specific expectations of where things are going to go. It's most important to me that we have fun, take it slow, and just see what happens. If you read my description and you think you'd like to get to know me better, you should definitely let me know.
