After surviving the flood of 2008 (well - I survived, my house - not so much) I moved out to the boondocks and now live in Norway (a small town on a giant hill). I love my new home with it's gorgeous well-landscaped patio, but I'm wishing I had a special someone to kick back, have a glass of wine and enjoy it with.

I enjoy outdoor activities in the summer (boating, doing anything on or around the water, hiking aka walking the dog), concerts, live music, movies, dining out and reading. I like spending time with friends - meeting up for beer or margaritas, hearing live music, or just hanging out around the house. I paint the occasional abstract painting, play guitar and a little piano, and even enjoy singing in the church choir.

I like most music; mainly country, blues and pop, but like most anything else as well.

I was married for 10 years and have been divorced for almost six years now. I'm not a needy clingy person who has to have a man in my life, but I find that life is so much more enjoyable when you have a special someone to share things with. I do not have children, but if you do, that's great. I do have a big dog with a bit of a personality problem. We had to drop out of obedience school after an unfortunate barking incident (him - not me, and hey the other dog started it anyway). He's not all bad - he will fetch my slippers (if a treat is involved and he happens to feel like it) and he loves children (they taste like chicken).
