I put honesty above everything. I am a loyal friend first - hence no immediate booty calls. I am semi retired, but work in the summer, not weekends. I enjoy many things. I have learned to be happy in a 5 star place or making a sand castle on the beach. I am not a materialistic "high maintenence" woman. I am just me up front and always honest. I have faced many loses in my life and have seen the tops of the mountains regarding happiness and I have seen the valleys. I am a survivor of life. I live in the moment and appreciate every day. One day at a time. I love all my children, grand children, and great grand children, but there is life beyond them for me. At this point in my life I don't want to play games. I want to find that special someone that you care about and know they care about you. Please no head games, or dishonesty been through enough of that in my life as have many. I am in no way bitter, but now have zero tollerance for frauds.
Interests include places of historical content, a movie, a walk on the beach to watch the sunset, kayking, camping so long as it has 4 sides, snow only if I am kept warm, the mountains as well as the ocean, lakes, and rivers. I have yet to bait a fish hook or remove the fish, but have been fishing. I enjoy reading to relax. I just love the nature of Maine and know that this is where I am suppose to be.
Goals: to go to Conway, NH for my birthday in Oct., to get a tan this summer, to visit some friends that I haven't seen in awhile, to read a book a month, take an American Sign Language class again, learn Yoga, be published, get a car even if it is a little junk, go back to Rangley, Maine, see PA where my daughter parks her rig and is on her days off.
My taste in music varries on my mood and where I am.

First dates should be public. I love to play the tourist thing in Old Port browsing the shops. A ride to the mountains or a walk on the beach. A picnic or a cup of coffee someplace just to get to know one another
