Hello! I've decided this site was worth a shot, as I am feeling a little bit let down by the bar/club scene; and I really want to find someone I can spend quality time with; like a day at the museum or the zoo, or catch a concert or show. I'm not going to say "I value honesty, respect, and ambition, etc." Who doesn't look for that in others??? Oh, crap! I just said what I said I wasn't going to say, didn't I? I'm really laid back for the most part; I can get into just about anything and given half the chance would jump on a plane to who knows where just for fun; I've been to a lot of different countries (eight) where I didn't speak any of the native tongue and made it out alive!

I'm kind of an artsy chick at heart; I have my BA's in Theatre Arts and Psychology (but I will not analyze you, I swear, and my drama is saved for the stage as a rule). So, I am an educated person and I expect whoever I'm with to be intelligent as well. I don't need a deep conversation about metaphysical theories, but someone that makes me think is nice! I love to read...currently I'm lost in one of the 36? Discworld novels by the satiric genius, Terry Pratchett. I'm still very active, but I get bored easy so you won't find me exercising in a gym. I'm more likely to dance around in my skivvies, play Ultimate or soccer in a park (however, if I can't make it a contact sport I don't want to play), or take a spontaneous walk anywhere. I've been doing a lot of ballet conditioning exercises lately. I HATE shopping, but if taking a few laps around MoA with my friends keeps me moving, I'm okay with that. I've been running a lot more lately. I play WoW. I was raised in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, so paintball and ATV's I'm totally okay with, provided I get muddy and dirty otherwise there's no point. That doesn't mean I can't be a glamour girl and rock a pair of 4" stiletto heels and a short black dress, I do quite frequently. Speaking of rock, I'm kind of a huge Smashing Pumpkins fan, and Metallica, and Garbage, and The Melismatics (AMAZING local band)...but you'll also find The Andrews Sisters, Flogging Molly, and Charlie Parker on my Ipod. It makes the shuffle setting way more fun.

My friends would call me a smart-a$$, blunt, hyperactive, and goofy (and maybe a punk), and I completely agree with all of it. I have ambition, but I don't believe in taking myself or life too seriously. I attempt to live by the motto: "Try anything once." If you're the very sensitive type, I'm probably not your best match. I can be a sweetheart, but I have a mischievous streak that has gotten me in and out of a lot of trouble.

Oh, and you get major bonus points if you look good in a kilt ;) There's not many a man who can pull off a kilt...

p.s. - I'm not interested in seeing guys with kids, sorry. I'm sure you're a great dad and I hope you find the one but I'm not at that point in my life. Kids love me for some reason, but dating someone with them? Really not my thing.

Just somewhere nice where we can both chill and have fun and chat a bit. I love coffee...
