| | I have been divorced for 6 years. Haven't dated much with a son at A&M (senior in engineering and a daughter at U.T (commmunications and advertising). Don't make the club scene. Been there, done that in my twenties. I have been working and finishing my associates degree. I have 3.1 GPA and only need a few more credits. I owned my own business and built my own house in the 80's and took my business from 60,00 to 1 million within two years and helped my dad and brother open theirs in east texas. I really haven't even been looking but now my "kid"s are fixing to graduate, it's time for me to start looking. I think the first date should be a friendly meeting maybe for coffee and dinner. Just mainly to see if a second date is warranted. I don't believe in making things work that aren't there. I'm a romantic at heart and belive in chemistry between two people. If it's not there, its nobody's fault. There is someone for everyone and most people it seems dont look around enough. That is why I thought I'd give the online a shot. It seems like you get a broader base. However my ideal date would be a good video and popcorn by a fireplace. Maybe that would be later or on the second date. I also love the beach and walking and talking. |
