I like to take my bass boat for a relaxing day of fishing as often as I can. There is something calming about being on a quiet lake as the sun sets on the waters edge. I love to read--mainly biographies about important people in our nation's past or world war II stories. I am reading Team of Rivals now with American Lion next. I like antiques and have several family heirlooms. I love to go to live theater. I have seen several shows in Chicago including Jersey Boys, Wicked (3 times), Aida, Phanthom, Les Mis, and others. I also have been to several shows at the Morris and South Bend Civic Theater. I'm a long time rock fan with ELO, Doobies, Clapton, Winwood, JT, and Beatles among my favorites, but I also like some Jazz, classical, and Bluegrass such as Alison Kraus.

I would like to meet someone at a coffee shop for a good cup of Joe and some conversation. I like to go to the East Race and watch to water go by and walk along the river.
