Rapid-fire run down: I work in an office by day, but rock out by night (on weekends, at least; everybody's got to sleep); I like to paint bright abstract randomness on my apartment walls; I love well-written, entertaining books; I am relatively taciturn but not particularly shy; I like semicolons way too much.

Meat: I identify my life mostly with music. I was a voice major in college, and I play piano and sing for a band. I'm always looking for new, interesting sounds, which means I listen to a lot of bands. Past favorites include David Bowie, Beatles, Brian Eno, Deerhoof, Pixies, Prince, Ween, Led Zeppelin, Fiery Furnaces, Roxy Music, Frank Black, Can, and Tech N9ne.

Other: I have a cat named Dinosaur who is tiny and black as night; I like to go out to bars or movies sometimes; I like to stay in and cook dinner and play board games other times. Potential topics of conversation include [but are not limited to] music, cookery, crazy friends, obscure movie trivia, and academically baseless philosophy. (I like to talk about the nature of the universe, but I slept through all my metaphysics classes.)

And I'm done talking about myself. I feel like I'm just babbling nonsensically. You say something. Something witty... Or cool and sexy. Cool and sexy is good.
