I am a single 40 year old guy who is looking for a woman that I can be myself with. I moved to Idaho seven years ago from Arizona and I really love the lifestyle here. Though I have been single for a while, I am very happy with myself and who I am and would like to find a lady to share some of my adventures with. We all know that this online dating thing can be a major headache sometimes. I will always respond to a wink or an email and I would like the same courtesy. My philosophy is that you never know about someone until you at least try to get to know them. If nothing else we can both come out of it with a new friend. That is always a good thing.
I enjoy hiking, camping, reading, yard sales, movies, tv and a little bit of everything. I like all kinds of music, blues, rock, more. I like good food, good beer and a good life. I am very open minded and enjoy different experiences.
I love going to local breweries and high quality food and wine places Ste. Chapelle or The Ram in downtown Boise. I also enjoy live music and taking long rides in the country. Camping and going to Mccall on a whim is also a favorite.
I read the newspaper everyday and usually get annoyed with all the bad news. I like novels and non fiction. I like science fiction novels as well as authors like Stephen King, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, William S. Burroughs and other literary greats.
I work as a customer service/resolution specialist for satellite telelvision. I also do side work as a freelance writer for a local brewers newspaper. In addition to that I also sell collectibles on Ebay as a source of additional income.

A good first date would be lunch or coffee first, downtown somewhere either Nampa or Boise, then if we hit it off walk around and window shop. Another good first date would be out to Ste. Chappelle on a Sunday afternoon and listen to live music with a picnic lunch. Places like that are no pressure places to get to know each other and find lots to talk about. Then if we spark we could bo out to dinner or more live music or play it by ear.
