A kid at heart I be, treasuring the simple values in life such as loyalty, compassion, consideration, honesty.
I am the grilling king, and after spending all summer upgrading the deck, it is definitely the place to sit back, relax, socialize and have a beer, getting cold now, but when that craving for a good steak hits, the BBQ is turning on ... +30 or -30, it does not matter. I am an energizer - active in sports year round, where volleyball and hockey is my passion. Having completed one half marathon was a great feeling, it would be nice to do another one or better yet a full marathon, tho only if the body mechanics can handle the impact. Dine in / Dine out, I prefer the comforts of home, experiment with new dishes every now and then, however being adventurous cooking for one is surely not as fun as cooking for two or more. I have ventured to the outback of Australia, the towers of Taiwan, the beaches Mexico, and of course California/Vegas. Had recently seen the Lion King musical, the costumes were absolutely amazing, tho it still wasn't good enough to crack my top 3 list of musicals. I have witnessed a gymnasium filled with smiling joyful kids prior to Christmas and know the gift of giving.
I don't get worked up over petty little things, i just take it as it comes, hakuna matata right! So far, i haven't had much success on this site, but you can't change who you are, and be true to yourself. I know I'm a dynamic person, you just don't know it yet.
So what am I looking for in a girl. A simple, nice girl with good family values, carefree and a cheerful smile. Someone who likes kids, who can hang out with my 3 nephews and have a blast. Active who can join in sports, just to have fun, or go for an outdoor adventure. Someone to look up a few new recipes off allrecipes.com with and to share the meal with a nice bottle of wine, cause heck even if the meal doesn't taste the best, the wine will at least make up for it, then relax over a movie. Hockey fan is a bonus ... to go to games, or just go crazy in front of the big screen, if you can talk hockey, oh dear ... conversations will never end. Someone I can take care of if you are feeling sick or down and vice versa, everyone needs a shoulder every now and then, even Super(wo)man. Someone to share some great memories with as well as make great memories for others. Someone to just enjoy the little things in life, the nice walks at night in the cool breeze, earlier morning breakfasts, take on home reno/gardening projects or to set some time aside to do some volunteering.
