A list of things that make me happy, in no particular order:

My collection of stickers that have little smiley faces on them. If something ever bothers you, just see how much it still does after it has a yellow smiley face on it.

Tactile interfaces. The Monome comes to mind.

A coincidental alignment, like when you're driving along and the music playing lines up rhythmically with your turn signal. Or when two people jump into a conversation simultaneously with the exact same words.

Rain. On a windshield. Backlit. Creating amorphous shadows that dance across someone's face.

Random and inapplicable knowledge. I could blather on for a long time about how the head of composer Joseph Haydn was stolen from his grave, hidden, and finally returned a hundred and fifty years later.

The hope that, someday, the Sharks will make it past the second round.

Improvised decorations. A bracelet made out of 16-core ribbon cable, for example.

Frequency modulation, downsampling, delay lines, FFTs, granular resynthesis, Max/MSP, Ableton Live, mlr and my sexy new Alesis monitors that just showed up today. Mmm!

Writing. I have so many stories... say hello and I'll tell you some.

Get out the pencil and paper and draft up plans for world domination over a lovely cup of chai because I greatly prefer tea to coffee.
