| | I'm a perpetual graduate student, and would like to meet someone single to hang-out with, as most everyone in my social circle is married! I'll probably end up working in academia, but don't hold that against me.  I'd kind of like to meet someone who's about as much of an egghead as myself--if we both have jobs that require decades of schooling and still pay lousy, there's less room for resentment. I like to be active, but I'm psychologically allergic to spandex. I only run when chased. *grin* I'd like to meet a fellow staunch liberal, recycling, sustainable-living nut (or someone willing to be talked into such things) who agrees that FoxNews is evil incarnate (I had a convulsion just typing it), and can respect my personal belief system. Kinda demanding, huh? *shrug* Not like I really expect this site to amount to anything, but it was kinda fun to fill out.

Since we'd just be getting to know each other, public is good. A restaurant would be nice. That way, if you're an axe-murderer, I can get away! I'm not overly picky--I prefer it when I don't have to put on a semi-formal just to get respect from the wait-staff. Cheap fast-food on a first date might be kind of tacky, though. |
