I enjoy the simple things in life. Material things are nice, but that is not what makes life worth living for. It's sharing life with someone, even the simple daily things.

Over the years I have traveled all over the US, to Europe and China and love doing day trips. There is so much to see in North Carolina and the surrounding states. I like spending quite time reading or taking my Newfoundland's on walks.

I love being creative. I am a published author and have been oil painting since I was 8 years old. Mostly landscapes, seascapes and still life. Recently I have taken up custom oil paintings of dogs (or any pet). In addition to selling the portraits I donate custom pet portraits to animal shelters and rescue groups for their fund raising efforts.

I do know what is important in life. You can have all the achievements in the world but without someone to share them with they can be very hollow. I am a diehard romantic from the old school, loyal to the bone, caring, faithful and honest. I am looking for my match in life. I am looking for that special person to share every aspect of life. Someone that is caring and loving, honest and faithful. I was born and raised a gentlemen and do not how else to be with a lady.
