Can’t judge a book until you’ve seen its cover, so here goes…

I’d like to think that I’d have a go at pretty much anything…I get a kick out of finding new ways to go up a mountain, so that eventually I might get to come down it. I love buying gear that I’ll only use once, and think that there’s a job for every tool rather than the other way around.

I like white seafood chowder, not the red, and I like to debate but not argue. I think that Days of Thunder was better than Top Gun, and that Danny Glover causes global warming.

I like bad movies, good music, new recipes, long books and short lift lines…Tea over coffee, breakfast for dinner, ketchup on everything and never less than one bottle of wine too many.

Nothing beats a good dead pan. A bad joke can be good, and I’m close to my happiest when it’s raining, ‘cause at the end of the day it’s snowing somewhere. I listen to my headphones far too loud (except on the bus) and like pretty much everything from Kiwi reggae to Brazilian metal.

I can’t understand why people keep saying flannel is “back in,” because if you ask me it was never out. I prefer talking to texting and have little patience for excessive use of the word “like.” I cheer for the Maple Leafs, hate to lose at Jeopardy, never let the truth get in the way of a good story, consider napping a form of art and think that hot dogs have a bad rap.
