Greetings all. I'm an undergraduate student at York University for fine arts (visual arts account if you are interested specifically), so I'm pretty useless to society. I'm kind of a daydreamer, I'm not always here, or there. Anyway, it doesn't seem to freak anyone out, although sometimes it takes some time to get my attention when I zone out.That's one of my quirks, I have many. In my experience the little world in my head is much more interesting than whatever this one has to offer. But then again I live in Barrie, and this ia where people go to die.


My taste in music is eclectic, I listen to soundtracks for games mostly, so it's usually orchestral for the most part. But I do like classical, baroque as well as some random j-pop/rock songs. Although I haven't been exposed to much in terms of pop culture, I live under a rock. I do enjoy a lot of video games, although I don't let that control my life completely. I tend to prefer city builders, the sims, and Rpgs. I once had a World of Warcraft addiction, but that has since been cured. I also enjoy anime. (oh Haruhi, if I weren't gay and if you were real.) I am therefore rather geeky if you haven't already guessed. I enjoy things that allow me to escape. Although my limited reading tends to be more facts about pretty buildings and artworks and such. (oh how I want to go back to Europe someday, so many things to see. I want to climb Giotto's Campanile in Florence, I have a thing for bell towers)I do read on occasion but not as much as I should. (other than my readings for classes lol) I am currently pushing through "The Golden Bough", it's slow going but an amusing read.



I'm looking for someone to date, and hopefully get into a relationship with. I do love geeky guys, but alas my knowledge of certain realms of geekiness is lacking. I'm friendly, or try to seem so. Really I am, but my social awkwardness is an obstacle. I'm rather naive and shy as well. Actually I'm really shy, I find men particularly intimidating, which is unfortunate. However, I can open up pretty quickly with the right conversations. I can keep a good one going so long as all participants are participating, I don't do monologues.
I haven't a clue what I'm doing with my life. Now don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm unambitious, or perhaps it is. I prefer to think I'm just jaded to the point where I realize my dreams shall never be. As you can see I can be a negative nancy, but oftentimes I'm just as jovial as the next guy. Although looking around online and in real life I can't help but feel that I'm utterly alone in all this; so here's your chance to prove me wrong. haha
