As comfortable in jeans as all dressed up, I am an adventurous, compassionate, and caring woman who believes in God, loves to travel and loves to dance. By nature, I am an encourger, see options and am positive. I do not tolerate complainers. I believe in and hold to Christian values and know that one day that God will bless me with that one special man in my life so that we can not only encourage each other but the lives of others around us. I have three wonderful children who are all college graduates and in careers of their own. Two are married and have blessed me with four grandchildren under the age of three. I was a single mother for the majority of my life and am proud of their choices and successes. I am very active, enjoy nature, picnics, and long walks. I am blessed with great health for being 62.

I love to dance, but you won't find me going to a night club or bar alone, I have discovered a fun/family place to go contra dancing which is an early American folk dancing. Whether reggae, rock n'roll, C&W, Mozart or praise music I enjoy listening to music, both live and recorded. I enjoy the theater, concerts, and entertaining friends. What sets me apart? I just finished the manuscript for a book thatI have been writing for over a year now; it is now in the hands of an editor and I am hoping to have it published some time this summer. How am I unique? I am determined and upbeat. I joined the Peace Corps out of college, taught school and lived in Jamaica in the West Indies for ten years - and I'd do it again if I had the chance to live life over again.

Now that my children are grown and on their own, I'd love to meet that one special someone who is looking for a woman to share life together, to celebrate our families and encourage each other to be the best that we are meant to be - to leave a positive legacy for others. My Christian faith guides my morals and behavior and must guide yours too.

For me, I would enjoy having a cup of coffee or tea in a quiet setting where we could meet and get to know one another on an informal basis and determine whether or not the chemistry was there, and whether or not we would like to pursue the relationship further.
