About Me
wow, what can i say? My mate wrote on his that he goes around Tesco's hoping to meet girls, but when i do that I end up crashing my trolley! Thats why its safer to go late night shopping, most aisles are blocked off. Hmmm. Maybe i shouldn't mention aisles on a dating site. My friend has had quite a few hits, maybe its because he mentioned Asparagus?
Im a fairly normal 35 year old, looking for Ms Right. Have looked all over Dublin, but little Ms Drunken night doesn't really appeal so much anymore. Actually as of Halloween night I am off grandpa's old cough medicine. So, if you are a big drinker, as in drink to get langered.. I dont want to know. Looking for someone comfortable in their own skin (so no Silence of the Lambs types please), good sense of humour and a girl whos equally cool dressing up or hanging out in casuals. I like to get away now and again to chill out and see new places so it would be nice if you have a passport or mobile teleportation device.
Music wise ill listen to anything, but like upbeat stuff for the summer time. Otherwise things like Director, The Killers, Ash, Snow Patrol and the obligatory 80's music for a night out.
I enjoy writing, have half written some stories, but need some inspiration to finish them! Either that or i'll just plagurise other peoples work :)
A bit clumsy; was playing tennis earlier today for example and managed to somehow hit myself in the face with the ball. I pretended that it was a ploy to distract my opponent but really, my face hurt.
ps. Dunno what the fish personality thing is all about but i liked the sound of "bottom dweller". what can i say, i find toilet humour funny!
Oh and i should point out that i'm not a Dub, i'm from the North so have a wayyyy cooler accent ;)
I do have a few scars, and a tattoo on my upper arm. Some girls don't like that, but I like to read books with different covers sometimes.
Some things that i like; milk, being indoors when its cold out, sleep, cuddles, kisses, laughing, toilet humor, seeing new things, trying to work out how things work, sitting by the river, fresh air, friends, family, a good pillow, my iMac, music, dancing when im drunk, chicken, people watching, flirting, movie collections, LOST, 80's music, christmas music, trying to learn guitar, photography, writing, web surfing, cooking, random stuff, water, simple pleasures, the touch of a woman, sneezing
Some things i dislike; heights, snakes, coffee, onions, washing up, ironing, the alarm clock at 7am, work stress, Grafton Street, not finishing writing, spreadsheets, rudeness, being stood up, moving house, thugs, being hit in the face by a tennis ball, having a Cold, Hiccups, Flies, Wasps
First Date
Ideal first date is arranging to meet someone, turning up on time and then waiting for an hour whilst she doesnt show up. Kidding, that hasn't happened to me yet..yet.
Do online daters take their laptops with them to communicate on a date?
Ideal first date? well, ideally it would be on an island in Barbados, with the sun shining and drinking nice cold drinks whilst the sea creeps up the beach.
Back in reality, meeting somewhere where its possible to talk without using sign language is always a good start. Dependant on the weather, perhaps a walk, or if its raining as usual, go on for a drink. I dont drink coffee, but ill take a cuppa :)
NorthernMan09 has 2 roses that can be sent.
