I'm going to UC Santa Cruz, graduating in two quarters with a BA in Politics. I want to go to grad school eventually, but I'm not sure for what yet. I'm going to take a couple years off and see if I can do some IT work. I find that fun and hands on. I'm a nerd, and I tend to get along with other nerds, and can be a good one-on-one conversationalist. I'm somewhere between an introvert and extrovert, enjoying being around people I know well but it takes me a little bit to warm up to you.

I like all sorts of music... good hip hop, rock, classical, and i'm really getting into jazz; music is very important to me, and I'm constantly listening to something. Good coffee, good food, and good conversation make me happy... the simple things. I also like women of all shapes and sizes... there's beauty in everyone. I'm a very passionate person and I don't try to hide it. My friends and family are very important to me, and I enjoy life.

For a first meeting? Coffee/tea and a bit of icebreaking conversation. Later on, going out to a casual restaurant is a good way to kick things off. I don't think a movie is a good first or even second date, because it's just sitting in the dark with no personal interaction. As time goes on, I like to do varied things, from picnics, to exploring nature, to long drives along back roads, to even just curling up on the couch and watching a movie I haven't seen before (which is many).
