I like pina colados, getting caught in the rain........ :)
Looking for? That's easy, I'm looking for the last girl I'll ever want to kiss. Oh, wait! This is supposed to be "About Me". Doh!
I suspect I'm perfectly imperfect. I keep a reasonably neat home but I'm not a neat freak. Organized with business affairs but rather spontaneous and unplanned socially. My friends say I'm intense at times, yet, so laid back that fun seems to follow me. I have a slightly warped wit and laugh with reckless abandon, especially at my own faux pas.
I can be rather flirty, even with my friends especially if they are quick witted and can banter back and forth with some good innuendo. I try to be upbeat and positive and love to make others feel good when they are around me. If I've made someone smile, it's been a good day! :)
Typically, I play music that creates a mood. If I'm driving to a party it'll be classic rock, talking with a date maybe the blues, and, Jimmy Buffet when leaving the harbor in my boat. Some of the artists I enjoy are Eric Clapton, Sade, Eagles, B.B. King, Stevie Nix, Chicken Foot.
In my boy-girl relations I prefer to be "chosen". Not into manipulating or coercing a woman to giving me her attention. I never understood that mindset. I mean, doesn't everyone want the person they adore to "choose them freely"? ;)
My business has been very demanding since Katrina and I haven't had much time for a personal life. That's changed now and I plan for the business to grow so it has solid value as the years go by so that a special someone and myself can work on our Bucket Lists, together.
It's time to enjoy life again, and I'd love to find someone special to help me whittle away at my Bucket List. Shared adventures are so much more rewarding. The list? Crazy things like sailing a catamaran for a week in the British Virgin Islands, kite boarding, visiting Greece, spelunking, seeing the rain forests in Panama, and more. The remainder of my life will be filled with shared joys. ...Like they say, "Life's journey is NOT to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body but rather skid in sideways, a cigar in one hand and a glass of wine in the other,...totally worn out...shouting...Wow, what a ride!"

I don't call a "coffee to see if we want to go out" or run away a "Date".
Hmmmmmmmmm? Assuming I could whisk us to anyplace and we'd really clicked upon meeting, it'd be New Orleans (I grew up there and know it well). I'd want it to be a very active date, so that there was minimal risk of any dead zones in the conversation but plenty of time to talk and talk and talk so we got to know each other.
It'd be a Saturday and we'd amble through the French Quarter taking in the sites, each providing easy conversation as we commented on what we saw. Early afternoon we'd stop for some delicious Beignets at The Cafe Du Monde in the old French Market. Then, check out the awesome old buildings while communicating with our eyes and other non-verbal means. Have dinner at Drago's and savor their world famous Char Broiled Oysters (to die for).
After dinner we'd go to The Cat's Meow which is my favorite place in New Orleans. It's a high energy Karaoke/Stage show club (and, I dislike Karaoke LOL) with the Emcees really getting the audience involved. And, if someone is really a rotten singer, they' "sing over" the screecher. LOL It's all about laughter and audience participation. Finally a late dessert and a glass of wine in a quiet bistro as we slipped into a few moments of "us time". :)
If I add you to my favorites, that mean's you drew my interest and I hope to hear from you or think I'll write you when I have time to do so with thoughtful care.
