I am the mom of a gorgeous 9 yo daughter who keeps me very busy. However, I'm tired of seeing movies that are all Disney or Pixar! I'm looking for a grown up to hang out with- take in a concert, explore some local hiking, time at the beach or discover a hole in the wall restaurant. My tastes are pretty eclectic. I like music ranging from classical to R&B, top 40, big bands, and current country artists. I have been single for the past 8 years (although have dated during that time), so I'm very independent. MIss having a partner when there's dead vermin to be cleared out of the yard! I'm not into material things (so I won't be impressed with that new Mercedes convertible), but I do value responsibility and stability. Intellectual and goal oriented is a must. As my dtr gets older and more independent (she's way into her friends now), I have a bit more free time to be ME- not just "mom". Really just looking for someone to laugh and spend time with initially.

Love to travel and try to take a grown up girls only trip at least once every other years. We've done Hawaii, Cancun and Jamaica so far. Greece is next on the list! Really enjoy experiencing other cultures- working on my Spanish proficiency. Also lived overseas in the Philippines for 2 years and have been to Japan and Korea.

Going for coffee or happy hour is usually my first date plan. Avoid loud bars, movies, etc at first because you can't talk/hear at those places!
