I'm a a bit crazy, but otherwise pretty much a regular everyday mother of a 9 year old girl, a teacher, musician, and a nature lover. My daughter means world to me and the main goal I have is for her to be happy. A father in the family would make us both feel that way. He would be a "normal" guy, able to take responsibility and show emotions, ready to put up with our craziness, a man who knows where his place in this world is. Might sound pretty harsh, but, honestly, I have no interest in meeting a guy who is "just looking around".
I like living life to its full, which is going out (hiking, biking, swimming, dancing - just being active; being stuck inside is a killer for me) and to do it side by side with a whole loving family is much, much better and more fun.
Update:
Turn off: jerks (pretending to be someone else) and show offs (tattoos, big cars, etc.). No thanks.
Turn on: good parent; can figure out what is best to do or say; shows respect to himself and others (and yes, also children); honors his word; educated
OK, well, I have met some interesting guys through this website and also some weirdos. It seems to me this is more about making friends here, but maybe it's just my different cultural perception. I don't like games and feel best when I can say what I want to say. Just wanted to share this, guys. I'll meet you out there in Red Rock or at the pool.

Update 2:
Moved out and am in Europe now. (much more hiking opportunities here, yes!) Anybody give me a reason to come back?
