I moved to Carlsbad, CA, in 2007 and living at the beach is AWESOME! I love to live life and experience new places, people and things. My friends seem to love me, but I'm not always sure why. Maybe because I make them laugh. I'll try just about anything once. I love my life; I'm comfortable in it, and in anything from formal wear to jeans to absolutely nothing. I love to be outside enjoying the beach, biking, walking, camping and watching the sunset. Keeping fit is important, but I am in the worst shape of my entire life.. yes, my pictures are current. I'm intelligent and fun! I've been told that I intimidate men, that is, until they get to know me. I know what I want and I won't settle for less. If that's intimidating, so be it. I love music and singing. I'm very up front, honest (except when it comes to my age, but I will always tell when asked.. in person.. after you guess) and down to earth.

If you can make me laugh, that's a good start. I need someone to kill spiders and moths, put air in my tires and give me back massages. I like a fun, smart man who is in great shape, wants to help me get back into great shape, looks good, takes care of himself and can keep up, especially mentally. You need to have your own opinions and be open minded, but we can agree to disagree. If you take yourself or life too seriously, we won’t get along. Personality counts a lot. Sense of humor is a must. Romance is awesome, and I love it, but I'm looking for a best friend, lover and more for this adventure called life, not a fairytale. I want someone who would do anything for me, because I would do anything for him. A man who can communicate (wait… that might be something from a fairytale! I know gay men that can’t even communicate! LOL). Sometimes you need to just sit and listen, and not try to fix it. You have to tell me 'no' from time to time, because if I always get my way, I get bored. Do you like hiking the hills or swimming in the ocean (when it's warm!), or riding beach cruisers into town? You like spending a Saturday morning lying in bed now and then? ;-) Me, too! Let’s travel or even live abroad. Can't stand drama or ignorance, and being needy is not attractive. No game playing, please. It's just not nice. If you want a pen pal, that's not me. I prefer to meet a man in person rather than write back and forth for weeks.
