I like impromtu dinner parties, laughing till it hurts, Black and White classics, trying new restaurants, Sc-Fi, people watching, spending time with family and friends, Christmas, Karaoke, reading, carving pumpkins and amusement parks.

I come from the Woody Allen, Owen Wilson, Denis Leary, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller school of sarcastic humor- and from the Gomez Addams school of romance. Sarcasm, witty repartee and intelligent humor does it for me more than Slapstick.

I'm into all kinds of music, but typically listen to Rock, Trip-Hop, Classical and Pop.

I'm not a huge drinker, but when I do partake I stick to: Single Malt Scotch on the rocks or Grey Goose dirty Martinis with 2 olives. If we're doing sushi, we're doing Sake. ;)

I have two cats, but one apparently thinks he's a dog.

My family on both sides is anything but typical. Most of my relatives are artists, musicians, and entertainers of one kind or another (we even have a circus performer and a bullfighter if you can believe that).

Why is it so easy to meet the wrong ones, and nearly impossible to meet the one you should be with? I'm looking for someone I can have fun with. Someone I can share experiences with, laugh, travel the world, hopefully start a family with, grow old together, and all the typical things people look for in a companion . . . . but what I really want is someone I can really connect with. Someone who gets me and I get them. Someone who accepts me for me, in spite of my eccentricities, quirks and faults, as well as for my good points. I've traveled from the United States to the Pyramids of Egypt, but so far the woman I seek has eluded me.

Ideally I would like to find someone Catholic, but I am open to other beliefs as long as they do not involve human sacrifice, dressing in cloaked robes, etc. I would prefer someone "spiritual" to someone who believes in nothing.

I would arrive on the back of an Elephant, followed by a parade of fire eaters, jugglers, trumpeteers, drummers, dancers and a couple of stadard bearers. Upon making my entrance I would whisk you off to an evening of enchantment, dining on culinary wonders, drinking superb elixers and regaling you with tales of the sea and high adventure. However, not many restaurants are capable of accommodating such a spectacle . . . so what do you say we meet for coffee and see how it goes? If sparks fly we can do dinner and drinks, and save the elephant thing for another time.
