I love being outdoors. I recently got into kayaking and I am hooked!!! At home I love to garden and work on my house. After recovering from my self-inflicted repair wounds, I usually relax with a good book or movie. I love going to and watching movies at home.

I like my job, unlike most people I talk to. Recently I've started taking my writing more seriously. Currently, I am working on a writing a children's book. I cannot wait to see the finished product. This one is going to a great cause with all proceeds helping kids that really could use a break. I'm honored to be helping out.

One thing about me that you will find true immediately, is that I love being a dad. I adore my children and love spending as much time with them as possible. I also believe I can be a father and dad to other children too. So if you have children, I will welcome them. If you do not, I am not against having another child or two.

I try to see the humorous side of things whenever possible. Laughing is therapy for me in this really unusual time we live in. I've been known to be funny from time to time so if you you don't like to laugh, don't contact me. The only other thing that I can say about my personality is that I don't care for dramatics and I HATE lying. As for affection, I love to give and receive it. Holding hands is great and using each other for pillows is even better when watching tv. I'm not afraid to tell or show how I feel so hopefully neither are you.

I'm really looking for someone that is self assured and positive. Someone that sees the good in people and believes in honesty, integrity and soulmates. I try to keep myself active and fit; my partner should feel and do the same. Slugs need not apply. If it sounds like I'm looking for a lot, I am. Forever is the goal and too long to waste on people that are negative, lazy, liars and unmotivated. Been there, done that! The woman I am with will always be and feel safe with me and will ALWAYS be treated like a lady. I want to be the person that you can't wait to call or text and be willing to make a part of your day.

As for music I enjoy almost everything but I really like songs I can sing to. I need to add that if you are not sincere in looking for a relationship, please don't waste either of our time. I'm amazed at how many people go through the motions to only decide "they aren't ready". We are adults and no one is making you sign up here so if you aren't ready, wait till you are before contacting people. Just saying! I'm not afraid to dance or sing in public but just don't ask me to buy "female products" until we are really established as a couple.

For a first date I enjoy taking my date to a gym and cage fight with her! Just kidding!!! Actually, I like a date that is quiet and a little secluded where we can have good conversation and get to know each other. I love a good smile and really learn a lot by looking into the eyes of my date. It lets me know if what they are saying is how they really feel or just making idle conversation. I am a very affectionate person. Dinner, a walk, cafe, anything that allows us to talk and get to know each other.
