I am a musician and mad scientist. My work is varied and never twice the same. I crash perfectly good RC airplanes and fly kites for fun. I am currently renovating my house and have plans to build another from scratch. It will be filled with all kinds of technology. Women often collect things like shoes and purses, for me it's guitars. Though not as often as a shoe junkie. lol.

I love to cook and grow most of my own veggies and herbs. I love gardening, it's fun and gives me something to do while I drink my morning coffee. Plus, the freshness of the veggies add lots of flavor to my kitchen creations.

Being a musician, my tastes in music are sweeping. From classical and jazz to blues and rock. I like songs that speak to me on many levels. Some of which never get radio play. I am fairly open minded, but then again, I like what I like, because I like it. Current iPhone faves are A Perfect Circle, Tool, Alice In Chains, Staind, Black Sabbath, Hans Zimmer, w.A. Mozart, Simple Minds, The Cars, Jimi Hendrix, Patsy Cline, Marty Robbins, Black Eyed Peas, Counting Crows, SRV, Dream Theater... the list goes on... and on. And on. To me, nothing sounds better than a guitar, except maybe two of them. Three gets just a bit too busy for me, but then again, who am I to judge.

I am looking for someone who would like to join the adventure. Someone who is an individual and has their own interests and hobbies. I learn from everyone and have a burning desire to keep learning (almost an obsession). My new friend would need to understand that, accept it and not try to change it or me. If I am not learning something new, I will use my acquired knowledge to invent something. Could be good, then again... the old saying about idle hands could apply. Not that a doomsday machine is on my drawing board, but then again you never know. LOL. I am a big fan of Nick Tesla and Ben Franklin. Edison also plays heavily with my neurons. (Oh, photovoltaics...hmmmmm... 'photo' meaning light, that produces voltage...solar power?!?)

I am not really in a position to date in the traditional sense, Friday night etc. I take care of my Mother who suffered a stroke, so my time and opportunities to go out are limited, but can still happen with a little juggling and planning. She's the only real family I have left, and I would do anything for her. I refuse to put her in a home, at least with me, I know what kind of care she receives. Just to set the record straight, she now lives with me. Yes, this is stressful and sometimes overwhelming, that's why I need a friend or two to talk, grab coffee, whatever. As friendship grows, if something else blossoms, that's fine. Don't we all want/need that?
