Hi and thank you for stopping. I grew up in Texas and moved off to parts unknown for a while. Recently moved back to the Dallas area. I work online, and make my own hours, but do travel a fair bit, locally, and internationally from Sydney to Belfast with side trips to places I will not see again. Recently started jogging again every other day 2 or 3 miles. Love to watch foreign movies in French and Italian or English or Irish or Australian. Am a rabid conservative. Father was an outstanding chef in Texas and Shakespearian actor. Grew up in a challenging academic world. They took down my fabulous playlists of superb Irish music on youtube, because it gave me an unfair advantage in attracting pretty girls, but I will send you the links if you ask.

OK, I will talk about what I really am looking for:

1. All those good old USA character traits: loyalty, the ability to stand alone against all evil while giving aid and assistance to others, and holding forth a quiet confidence in knowing how things might work to fulfill your purpose in life.

2. A personal physical discipline of some kind, which doesn't necessarily exclude the few extra pounds types. I lifeguarded 4 summers, ran 37 miles twice (Houston city limits to Galveston bridge), free swam underwater 125 meters once. Had to shut down the running because of my knee, but miraculously has not been bothering me this last summer, and spent a lot of time in the yard barefoot pulling weeds, and enjoying it.

3. A Friday type personality. If you have to ask you aren't ready for Saturday.

4. Anything having to do with Ireland. And this can include just being lucky.

5. A personality that has the means and discipline of accomplishing some kind of artistic expression or view that you believe with all your heart and remain focused upon throughout your life. This usually requires freedom from excess baggage and a clear conscience.

6. An interest and ability in working and contributing on projects together and with others in a productive and challenging and dilligent way. Any aversion to making the most of dire circumstances including extreme heat or cold or unusual vapors will usually result in failure.

7. I click a lot of profiles, but how do I go writing a bunch of letters forever to sort out the one or two? When I was a child, we took in an alley cat that had kittens in our bathroom. We moved. Mom took her kittens back to the old hunting grounds. We brought them back. One stayed. True love what can you say? I had a dog, Alaskan malumute Lab mix with 1/8 coyote, got lost in Denver. Travelled 40 miles west looking for me. Advertised 6 weeks for him. Found him trying to sell encyclopedias to a rancher.

1. Watch fireflies.
2. Listen to music.
3. Eat, drink, talk, and listen.
4. Movie or movies.
5. Travel to Greece or Shropshire, or Ireland, or dear London.
6. Play cards.
7. One mile jog.
8. Country fair.
9. Political rally.
10. Book fair.
