Here are the top ten reasons why you would want to date me.
1. I work and volunteer in nonprofit.
2. I have a very even temperament and I never suffer from nasty mood swings or PMS. 3. I am very courageous and I have moxie.
4. I am kind, warm, nurturing and compassionate with values and priorities that include putting the people I love in my life above all else.
5. I am wise, grounded, practical, and just plain brilliant. People come from all over to just to ask me for my advice.
6. I am really funny. Did you hear the one about the priest and the rabbi?
7. I am loyal, trust worthy, ethical and honest, (don't ask me a question if you don't want to hear the truth). I am always on time and I always return borrowed items.
8. I have a wide and varied list of interest, which includes; history, architecture, anthropology, (physical and social), literature, and art and politics, just to name a few.
9. I like cooking big meals with lots of ingredients, going swimming and snorkeling, going fishing (I can gut a fish), reading, seeing foreign films (I don't mind the subtitles), dining out (who doesn't) going to parties, hiking, going on long road trips, and having long, deep conversations.

1. I am afraid of spiders.
2. I have carpel tunnel in my right hand and have terrible handwriting.
3. I’m allergic to cats and mold. (My cat is in foster-care.)
4. I have insomnia.
5. I can be very forgetful. This may be due to the insomnia.
6. I need to shower everyday and I need the people who are close to me to shower everyday.
7. I’m a terrible speller, so I never play scrabble.
8. Sometimes when I’m bored, I’m still too lazy to go do something.
9. I have been known to throw Tupperware away because I don’t want to clean whatever gross thing that has been in it too long.
10. I’m short and can’t reach the top shelf or screw in my own light bulbs; you will have to do it for me.


Some of the things I do most often is visit friends, go hiking, see a movie, cook big meals with lots of ingredients that takes more than ten minutes to put together, read for my book club, play games with my son, write, trying new restaurants, see an art exhibit and sometimes nothing but waste time.

I read mostly fiction, but I also have enjoyed a lot of nonfiction. I last read by Jon Krakaue. Right now I am reading Under the Banner of Heaven.
