I've reached a time in my life that is both satisfying and challenging. I'm extremely happy with where I am, what I've accomplished and know that tomorrow will be another beautiful day. But, because I'm not ready to settle back in my easy chair, a man who is active and energetic and has kept himself in good health is who interests me. Now gentlemen...I've listed my body type as average...and it is. It is average for a woman my age...NOT a 25 year old woman. So, please don't be unrealistic and be expecting to see Marilyn Monroe! AND...if you have that little pot belly...that's alright! Just don't list yourself as "athletic." As you can see, I've been on POF long enough to experience a few disappointments. I'm trying to be as honest as I can...please do the same for me.

I worked for 30+ years in Labor & Delivery in Indianapolis...and actually still miss it sometimes. Presently, I'm enjoying working part-time in the hospitality field, meeting people from all corners of the world. My mornings are free which gives me plenty of time to walk on the beach and swim in the gulf, work in my gardens that I dearly love, run around Sarasota enjoying all it has to offer and just be lazy if that's what I feel like.

My goals/aspirations are to "keep life simple"...it's that simple! I'm not a high maintenance type, although I do have very high standards. It's what's in your heart, not your pocket that counts. I live by the Golden Rule and expect everyone else to. I do have a soft spot in my heart for animals and children, and I now have two cats...and they are my best buddies. So, you might get your toes nibbled on!


Music is one of God's most precious gifts! I appreciate it all but enjoy classical and jazz the most. There's just too many to list.

If you would like to meet a woman who is pretty independent but loves to be pampered and you have a "wacky" sense of humor that would match mine...let me hear from you. And, if you're a younger man don't be afraid.

Oh..I hate it when people get all mushy and try to be romantic describing a first date! Just take me to dinner and dancing and share a couple of martinis...keep it relaxed and casual. Or lunch at a little beach bar and then go for a walk on the beach. Let's go some place where we can talk and kick off our shoes.
