Hey...so I'm not really sure what to expect with this and I'm really bad at describing myself but here goes nothing...

I'd like to think that I'm a well rounded guy. I love sports (both playing and watching) but I like live theatre, art galleries, etc...just as much. I will listen to hardcore on my ipod on the way to see a jazz concert. I could spend an entire day in a museum and then head home to watch a zombie movie marathon...I'm sure you get the idea.

I took history in university and really enjoyed it but I have recently decided to change gears and get into something completely different and I'll be starting that in January. Nothing like changing your mind after investing so much time and effort.

Like pretty much everybody else, I'm into movies and music. And much like the rest of my interests, my taste in both music and movies is pretty random. My playlists generally range from James Brown to the Dillinger Escape Plan and everything in between. And recently I've been going through a vinyl album obsession. As far as movies go I'll pretty much watch anything. I have way too many favourites to list and would constantly adding to that list as i thought about it more.

In some ways, I never really grew up. I still like comic books (I wanted to be Batman when I was a kid and I think part of me still does), I still watch the odd cartoon and still enjoy a video game session.

I suppose that my ideal match would be someone who is as random as I am. Someone who is just as comfortable outdoors as they are indoors. Someone who's not afraid to catch a ball or watch a hockey game. Or somebody who's into roundtable discussions over a few pints with some friends. I'm pretty comfortable in most situations and it'd be great to meet somebody that is the same.

P.S. Oilers fans are definitely a plus.
