The name's Gilbert. I am not very well at these things but I figured I would give it a shot. First off, I am slowly realizing that I live in a world full of pre-conceived notions of people's possible behaviors based on regional affiliation. With that said, I was born in Alabama and recently moved to Chicago. Yes I have a southern accent but I am by no means a stereotypical southerner. I do understand that stereotypes are very loosely based in some truth but I share no traits with the classic "southerner". Anyway, Other than the randomness above, I love to study history, the weather, I am a nerd at heart, I like to cook, bake, ride bikes, go hiking, I love the snow, I love animals, I don't like people who are mean to animals, I am a person who believes in monogamy, I like to drive around and listen to loud music in my car, and I love the city. Anything you feel I left out just ask me and I can tell you.

I am about to be back in school concentrating on History and Atmospheric science. I would love to do research on the history of the climate and the effect it had on societies in past eras to better help with forecasting the climate in modern times. Sounds cheesy but ohwell.
