Greetings! I am a committed Christian man who is the proud father of two awesome teenage young men. I desire to enjoy all this life has to offer until I walk the streets of gold and that includes seeing God work in and through me and those around me. I love to worship and praise and learn about the character of the Lord. I think that Christianity releases us to enjoy life more, rather than just restricting our behaviours. I have a motorcycle and love to ride when the weather cooperates. Often, I will ride with a group of friendly Harley riders to ... wherever. I love to sail, although I have not owned a boat for years ... I charter when the bug arises. Motorboating is also fun for me, if you have the boat ;).

I have taken ballroom dance classes (mostly latin) and look forward to more. Having a partner is more fun, although the classes seem to be heavily loaded with women. Even with that, someone I could develop better communication with, would be a bonus. Sometimes, just cuttin up a rug (or dance floor) with whatever music is playing is fun too. Anybody up for dancing in the living room in front of the fireplace with some good wine? Just thinking outloud. Dancing in the kitchen while cooking is fun too.

Of late, personal fitness has taken a much more important role, as I figured if I am in middle age, I am going to live another 48 years and I would rather enjoy it. I am no fanatic about it, but the temple of the Spirit should be taken care of. I look forward to adding more activities to my list as time goes on.

I do love hiking and camping. I have not fished since my dad died, but maybe I should try again? I have played some tennis (and I do mean play ... as in for fun) as well as SCUBA diving and skydiving. I think I would rather take up SCUBA again, if I had to choose .... especially in the tropics.

Hmmm ... I suppose I could come up with some awesome, exotic dream date that contained all kinds of surprises and romantic twists and turns (and I may, when we get there) but that would ruin all the surprise. So lets go with, I would like to share a venue wherein we can be comfortable and share together, but also that would provide an environment to be enjoyed. A walk in a park, or on a beach. An arboretum maybe? We can work that out together, ok?
