I am a butterfly. I flit here and there to whatever interests me at the time. An advantage of an empty nest is the ability to fly. I love art of all permutations, travel and beauty in all its forms.

Dancing and board games interest me. Am more champagne in tastes than beer but do love pizza, sashimi and oysters on the half shell are favorites and when living on a coast a main staple of diet. Ren faires, amusement parks, water in all its forms, eastern philosophy and music are all creators of memories filled with joy.

Music ties all of life together...whether classic to soothe, the music of birds and streams, the music of urban traffic, the memory lane of rock and roll or the world view in alternative, all genre's can become part of the sound track to my life. I listen often to non-synthesized new age music (Thaddeus from Orindaben, Enya, Arkenstone, music therapy designed stuff)and whatever is on the radio. Strauss waltzes and the Beachboys are music to lift when sad.

I like to interact with people with passions and interests. Who have stories to share and a focus on enjoying their life experience. People into finding and laughing, wondering and discovering without and within. Interest is....interesting :-)...and often contagious.

Am a stick a toe in the water person rather than a dive in. Until I find the water warm silky and the bottom safe. IF that place is reached...then am all for plunging into deep water unreservedly..embracing the new world that has opened up.

I write. Poetry, prose, fiction, non-fiction, copy for adds and publicity. Hope to soon leave behind the last and be able to sink more into the former.

Hmmm what else... Love jigsaw puzzles hate riddles, love learning, eat seafood and veggies mostly, collect eggart, believe that all human situations possible have been covered and answered in some episode of the Star Treks ;-) and like to play in the mud with my plants. The one competitive bone in my body is reserved for Scrabble.

Currently am crafting with fiber and jewelry making with some yummy stones, watching Hulu for shows that showcase the role of the personality versus the internal absolute, re-reading Christie mysteries,reviewing some sites for work proposals, creating some blogs, contemplating changing work direction, actually beating advanced level of minesweeper, re-arranging the plants on my balcony to try to survive the Phoenix heat...thinking of adding a small water element to help that... and spending a lot of time doing energy based meditation, and looking around for new permutations of fun.

I tend to leave a first date to the style and imagination of the asker. Since it is an online contact, we will have met for coffee or tea first and shared some conversation on interests, likes and dislikes. My interests are so eclectic and span so many areas that there is actually a wide range to choose from. Mostly, its about having paid attention to what we share in likes and a willingness to create a little magic. Smiles
