Georgia native, UGA fan, GA history teacher (8th grade),quick wit and good sense of humor. I enjoy a variety of things and I'm always open to learning new things. Love the lake, weekends away, Athens, spending time with my friends, hanging out with my family. I have a job that I love and I can't imagine doing anything else. I love to laugh..and must have someone who can do the same. I'm learning to love working out and start every day with a 2-3 mile walk with the dog. I enjoy taking care of others and would like to meet someone who would be willing to do the same for me...I think a relationship works best when each person puts the other first. I am a Christian and want the same from my partner. While I don't have children of my own, I love kids...I have 8 nieces and nephews and I've always been very involved in their lives. I love sports, especially college football, baseball, and basketball...and I actually understand what is going on during a game! I'm a relatively new home-owner and I enjoy my projects around the house, so if you're handy with a hammer or know how to call someone who is...that's a plus! I have an adorable dog who will love you the first time you meet him because he thinks all people are here for his enjoyment and I'm holding out hope that he will soon understand that I am the pack leader! I'm pretty easy to please, simple gestures of kindness and thoughtfulness will melt my heart. I'm not looking for a certain "type" of man, although thoughtful and funny tend to be a pattern for me, but I never give up hope the right one is out there.

First dates would include any activity that allowed us to talk and be relaxed. If you've never wandered around UGA's North Campus...it's perfect for that! After that, I'm always impressed when a man wants to share something that is important to him...a favorite restaurant, sporting event, concert, movie...whatever it might be.
