This category about 'looking for' seems a bit limiting to pick just one, but i guess it serves a purpose! Currently I'm looking for 'hang out', but in my mind that can easily lead to or jump right into dating, which can easily lead to more! Anything is possible....

At this point in life, I make my 'hobbies' what i do for a living, used to be a professional, but am now a whitewater rafting guide. I like to be active, or know there will be some adventure around the corner. I enjoy particiapting in team (hockey, softball, among others) and individual (whitewater kayaking, snowboarding and others) sports, the outdoors (car camping, multi-day raft/canoe/kayak/hiking trips), or just hitting the gym. Being active also makes me appreciate down time such as lounging on a deck with friends, watching a movie or backyard barbecue. Life is more enjoyable and beer tastes better after being challenged, hard work or having fun. I will eventually own my own business in adventure pursuits. I've taken risks by quitting profitable and long term employment to do what i want, and live a more balanced lifestyle. I guess you could say i'm a bit of a dreamer, but make em come true with passion, creativity, and commitment. Enjoy new experiences, love to laugh (who doesn't) and be care free, big fan of sketch and live comedy, enjoy teasing good friends and hosting parties. On the flipside, i also relish challenges, accomplishing things, peace and quiet, and finding inspiration in oneself, others, and whatever or whoever my next journey/adventure might be!

Been described as a chameleon, meaning my interests are diverse. I have a degree but no longer use it in work, though it comes in quite handy for real life. like to get dirty and play outside, but appreciate the comfort of a couch. I love what i do for a living and make my own rules. The wiser i get , the more i realize how little i know. Enjoy getting dressed up for a dinner/evening out, but once i get home i'll likely walk around the house naked eating a bowl of ice cream !!!

When i say team sports is a interest, i mean PLAYING team sports, NOT watching them (only exception is playoff hockey) on tv. Live sporting events are cool too!!!

I gave up TV for the internet long ago, i gave up long term security for a life, i give up time to be physically fit, and gave up being a big fish in a small pond to discover what it truly takes to re-invent yourself, but i will never, ever, give up on chocolate ice cream.

I'd rather take a piss out of POF users, for the things they write in their profiles, and do it with a spin off of Saturday Night Live's, weekend update segment called "Oh Really". Here's the top 10.

1) whats with users talking about how much FUN they like to have. You like to have fun? REALLY, thats like saying i enjoy havin oxygen in the air i breathe, states the obvious and is actually vague, who doesn't like havin fun. How would this sound: Hi i'm Netz74, i don't know how to have fun, enjoy miserable walks along the beach and lookin for car accident scenes to loiter at! Not Reallly!!

2) Or whats with the folks who claim they're just "taking a peak", 'curious', or 'JUST seein what's out there'. I love these lame attempts at putting up a disclaimer to the fact that you, yes YOU, have decided to create a profile. Here's the translation, 'I'm too cool for this, but i'm doing it anyway, cause that's Reeeally how cool i am'. Get over yourself, cause ya know what we have in common? Being Single! Yah REally

3)Or how about peeps, who claim that they 'just got on POF' or 'how new they are to POF or internet dating' REALLY, so yesterday i went to the museum and saw a booth dedicated to internet dating sites from the olden days, REALLY, it was right beside the Cave man display!

4)Do you have children? Prefer not to say!!! OHHH REAAALLLLYY, do i even need to explain this one, maybe i should. So you 'prefer not to say' eh, well guess what, you just did, and the translation is YES. Yeah Really. The issue here is not whether or not you have kids, the issue is whether you think that response is gonna mean anything other than yes. And if you put that response down and don't have kids, then it's time to check the single adds at the local prison, yeah, reaallly!!

5)Marital status: Not single/not looking: oh for the love of jebesus sakes. Let me guess, is this how you save face when your spouse notices your profile on POF. Better yet pal, she won't even tell you she noticed it, why?? why bust herself!! that's why, so the joke is on you, yeah Really

6) Or what about folks who list 'Food' under the 'Interests' Category. Oh Reallly, so food is an interest of yours is it? Perhaps they should add a category called 'Basic Life Needs (without them, you will die)' category. That way, we can all gush about how much we like food, yeah Reallly!!

7)'My friends signed me up'. umm sure they did, i bet they keep checking up on your profile to give you updates and check ur mail, or would that be YOU. Would i get to date them as well ?? C'monnnn-Realllly

8) My personal favorite: people say we need to see if there's, "chemistry" or "sparks", or "butterflies" when we meet. Isn't this REALLLY just a polite way of saying, 'i would need to find out if i would sleep with you or not!' Yeah Really
