- likes playing music - works as a consultant, commutes and travels a LOT - used to be a teacher - planning to move to KC area but key word here is *planning* (moving is a big deal, or should be) - actively seeking music playing opportunities in KC area *now* and will play with about anybody at least once - has two beautiful daughters, and when youngest graduates from high school in a few short months I won't want to live here in Ft Scott anymore at all (I barely want to live here now- she is about the only reason) - has lots of brothers and sisters and we are pretty close -

- wonders what YOU are like - hopes you can communicate with me easily and truthfully, even if it is not about something fun or pleasant - hopes you share my basic worldview - and hopes you turn up somewhere, somehow...

- likes to fix stuff and is good at it - has big sailboat on trailer but replaced tow vehicle with little tiny prius without planning how to haul sailboat and (ahem) feels kind of stupid about that, just mows around it in the back yard for now -

This is something new.

Years ago, when we did all this the old fashioned way, you found that there was a person who you wanted to be with and spend time with and maybe hold in your arms and talk with and ... ...and then you tried to think of something to do together and you came up with something so you call her and ask her, but you could only DO that if you had her phone number, so maybe you would just arrange to "bump into each other,"

well that was then and this is now. It's different.

And it is a reasonable question, I must admit- but I can't answer it.

But another thing that is different here: we have no idea what dynamic exists in the actual physical presence of one another. I'm just sayin.
