About Me
Vision without venture is only half the battle. It isn't enough to stare up the steps, you must also step up the stairs.
I am a pretty busy executive. I happen to be fortunate enough to love my job. I just moved down to Newport Beach and I realized that I just didn't want to do the whole dating scene. Maybe it's more that I don't care to hang out in bars anymore. The definition of insanity is to repeat the same actions over and over, but to expect different results. So, with that in mind, I thought I would try my friend's advice and sign up for this site. I am actually 47. I don't know what happened or why it won't let me change it.
I still enjoy playing my drums with my friends. We have had a band since the late 80's when we played all over Hollywood. I can't imagine my life without the drums in it. I also like to ride my Harley on the weekends and hang out with friends. I'm not a "biker", but there is something to be said about the freedom you feel when you are riding up PCH on a gorgeous afternoon. I also like to relax and watch a good movie. I've been across these great United States several times and love the journey. There is so much to see, if you take the time to stop and look around. I'm hoping to find someone fun to be around and share the wonders of life with. My best friend, lover and partner in everything. Someone to bounce things off of. Someone that will come to me first, when they need help or just want to talk. Someone that I can spoil and cherish. I don't mind being alone right now, I just don't like being lonely. I must say though, it IS better than being in a relationship and being lonely.
I am looking for someone that likes some of the same things as I do, but not all of them. I want to learn from, and teach new things to the person I'm with. If we have the exact same interests, things seem to get a little monotonous. (Doesn't the word "monotonous" look monotonous?) I want to discover new and exciting things everyday.

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. - Albert Schweitzer
