Just to be up-front, I am not 'established'…After getting divorced, I decided to change more then just my relationship status, so I am going to college to change my career, increase my income and knowledge of the world in general. I am hoping to be done and established in the next 3 years. Yes, I'm a busy person, school, work, family; but I always have time for my special someone.
I am happy with my life, and the aspects that I am not happy with, I am working to improve rather then complaining about it. I hope to find someone with a similar philosophy.
I love living here in northern CA. We are 2 hours from anything we could possibly want to do, from the mountains to the ocean, San Fran, Napa, one can do anything they want in a day trip... and the drives are great in my convertible (topless)! These mountains are a 4x4's dream, the world famous Rubicon is only an hour up the road (I've got some good pics). Not to mention the other direction, SF and fishing
out of the Bay.
It seems like fall was a blink of an eye and that winter is already here. I enjoy all the seasons, fall for the cool days, turning leaves, foggy nights and mornings…. I enjoy winter for the rain that renews the earth, clean air, gentile sounds and curling up with someone wonderful to enjoy it all. My only problem this winter is, that I don’t have a “someone wonderful” to enjoy it with.
I spent a few years living in FL, and before that time I didn't think anything of the 4 seasons. But my experience in FL, that has only two seasons (Summer, which runs from Nov. to June; and Hurricane season, which runs from July to Oct.) really made me appreciate what we have here in CA.
I have found that many things, like music or movie choice, can be worked around in a relationship, but food choice can be a huge pain. I prefer food that is made fresh, not spaghetti-o's from a can, and yes I can cook! I enjoy sushi but don't worry if you don't, we can always go to a place that serves other food as well.
I am not a smoker, disease free, and drug free (not '420 friendly') and require the same from my partner.
I am fine if you have children, and understand the demands of family. Although, If you are looking to start a family, please understand that I physically can not give you children, so attempting to convince me to have kids in the future is not an option.
