About Me
UPDATE -
a work in progress
My quest started out as research to see what women my age were like I have been on most of the date sites ie: match, yahoo, cupid you name it, and a few of the hook up sites as well AFF, fling an the like , and have seen a a few of you around no problem were all looking for the same thing eventually, not to be alone, be it for the night or for a lifetime, whatever were all human so who should judge
I have learned many things about myself and women in general and am amazed and amused by both its rare I will approach anyone one here and if I do I try to keep it simple and respectful I read profiles and hear where woman dont like men who approach them with bad pick up lines or brag about how big everything they have is, honesty doesnt seem to work either
I guess if I want to go out and meet women I should hang out at the winery , seems thats where most of the single women say is their favorite places no I dont have a Harley sorry , it was a choice I made after have my daughters would love to have one again but ...
I was married twice, I married my daughters mothers, loveless, more like a business deal or arrangement I tried my best but both eventually left for something else, I still have my daughters who are my life no regrets though it all has made me a little jaded , Ive been described as hard and edgy by some a little too nice by others, either way I know I'm loyal and honest (sometimes brutally)
Im very comfortable at home alone, but would rather share my time with someone I can relate to my occasional wild streaks will pry me from my home out to a show or bar for a few beers tho lately Ive been experiencing buyers remorse, still processing all that too
with all life has handed me Ive made lots of lemonade, it helps to wash down the occasional sh*tsandwich
anyway happy fishing
I'm laid back and comfortable in my own skin I prefer woman who are as well no one is perfect, so don't worry about it, I dont. Life is too short
I dont feel I "need" someone in my life for it to be fulfilling or complete but it would be nice to have someone to share it with. I have recently decided to simplify my life, to put aside things that were not positive and try to make better choices including relationships.
Looking for Friends I enjoy live music and the company of good friends I'm an IT professional who works from home and is usually very busy, so I don't have the opportunity to go out much. currently rethinking life goals, deciding less is more
I am a musician I like to spend time playing and listening to other bands, currently my favorite hot spot is my back yard which is where I plan to spend most of my summer the B.Y.O. Country Club is now open for swimming , BBQ, beer and bonfires- I enjoy dive bars and eclectic places, good food, live music, beer, good conversation, heated debates, skinny dipping (have own pool), old cars , motorcycles, vintage scooters, movies, music, beer (did I mention that yet),I like being at home - dont care for sports
I have also rediscovered golf, something I havnt played in years and am currently trying to teach my youngest daughter to enjoy it too sailing has also sparked my interest, we'll see where that leads, gotta find a boat first. I have also been working on my gardens in preparation for some summer feasting pool side Id like to meet someone who does not feel the need to be "out" in bars, clubs etc. and could enjoy time well spent with family and friends
***Like you Im not looking to do much of anything other than spend time with my family and maybe make a new friend Im am more than happy to talk and get to know you so please drop me line ***
