Well no long dissertation. Just give me half a thought and if you have been there you too will agree. If not, you won’t really understand...and neither of us wants that now do we? Lots of folks who think walking on the beach and haveing fun is all there is too life..oops...wrong. I am a realist..Made that way by misfortune and powerful learning of lifes tough lessons from my military service to the everyday fun and sadness that we all go through. I am origianally from Nashville but ended up here in Alabama working yet again for the government.
I am widowed have learned the hard way how precious life is,-each breath only closer to being alone...I shall continue to visit my lost love at the cemetery. If this is a show stopper please dont waste both our time. Next NO PHOTO no response. You see me I see you and then we can chat...Next im a happy go lucky guy most every day --really. When my son and I get together-Laurel and Hardy dont have anything on us... Next, I do my own work on my own home and cars. I worked on aircraft fighters for 20 years so cars are easy...loll
I’m retired air force and I now work for the space program. Yes I really do. I am looking for a love again but not the same kind. You never get that back. Understand im not looking for exactly what was lost but for someone who does understand loss and who can be both loving and understanding as I would be if the roles were reversed. I am also a lover of Jack Russells..
Now please--I do not deal with liars or lazy or bums.I also do not try and change people so dont try to change me..I own no one and no one owns me.
Ive seen and done more than most have in 10 lifetimes so who I am is pretty much set in stone due to those experiences. You dont want me to change you do you?
'I expect the person I meet to at least have a job and not use me as yet another stepping stone. I’m a home body pretty much since I have been to 13 different countries during my career.I have traveled the world and seen it all...yes I really really really really really have...from the pyramids of Egypt to the Alaskan waste land and everywhere in between defending my country. I have just not seen my own home. I will retire from the space program -a second career- in about 5 years with nothing left to pay but the electric bill.
I am taking the time now to smell my own roses in my own yard in my own time. This I owe to myself now after all my sacrifices. I will gladly share but not give away the whole farm this time around--after all being too good can be dangerous too. So share with me I shall share with you...
By the way I love Dean Martin, Rochmaninoff and Paganini...and a little country and western too. I also like Sci-Fi, the learning channel and history channel...and a lovely woman to walk next to me...not in front or behind. We walk as equals.

Well it seems coffee or tea, maybe dinner and a movie in a neutral atomosphere. Sounds rather boiler plate I suppose but Id like some suggestions if you have any.
