I am a US Navy veteran, I am a flag waving patriot(!), well traveled in the USA and Far East, well read & educated, a musician, and worked in the computer world for over 20 years.

Presently, I am teaching mathematics/science in a high school program.
(That means I have passed my drug tests and background investigations.)

I am also self-sufficient: cooking, cleaning, laundry, windows, etc.

I'm 50 going on 30! Still a kid at heart! I run to the window to watch a fire truck! I'm a young soul!

Just for fun... The CYNICAL and SARCASTIC Section (compiled from various meetings):

1. If you have not cleaned the skeletons from your closet, dealt with your "secret" issues, are holding a grudge, not over your ex, then YOU SHOULD NOT BE ON HERE looking for a relationship!

2. Just because I have chatted with you for a week or more doesn't mean I am in love with you.

3. Just because I am ready to meet with you does not mean I want to swap cooties with you, spend the night with you, or move in with you, or worse!

4. Please check your birth certificate before entering your age!

5. The most nonsensical profiles have "Honest, honesty, honor, etc" in the title, then down in the text somewhere there are "Prefer Not To Say" responses. How can you want someone "Honest" but YOU are not willing be??? For example: "Do you have children?" Take a look around the house, check photo albums, ask your OB/GYN or attorney... "Body Type" Don't you think all will be revealed at a meeting??? Check the mirror.

6. You can't find one friend/neighbor/child/sister/mother to take your picture? We don’t want to see photos of yourself with your EX cut out! Or a photo taken of yourself in the bathroom mirror (with towels and unmentionables hanging from the shower curtain rod). Or pictures of your cat in the litter box!!! Or more pix of animals than yourself! How about using a picture of yourself - not your daughter/sister/website/etc???

7. If you are on 'house arrest' with a GPS ankle monitor, please do not set up a meeting with me!!! (YES, this occurred in Orlando)

10. What part of MUST NOT BE MARRIED do you not understand??? Thanx for wasting my time!

Time is precious to me and I respect yours as well.
I would prefer to meet sooner than later.

After a few emails, chat on the phone to get comfortable, then meet up - for our first 'adventure'! Who knows? It may be the first of many... perchance to dream.

Then, maybe we walk on the beach, OR just sit and watch everyone from POF, Yahoo, Date, Match, Singlesnet, and eHarmony walking on the beach!
