Lets see, I am a guy so, that makes me an idiot by default. Yes it is often embarrassing knowing how dumb guys are and somehow we think that women don't pick up on it.

I have 3 dogs & they will remain loyal no matter what. Can't say that about most men and women. In fact, to test loyalty... Take a spouse/significant other and put them in the trunk of the car with your dog for 30 minutes. Open it after 30 minutes and see which one is happy to see you.

I am merely looking for friends here. To expect anything more would be a typical guy assumption. Not saying I am against dating or a relationship but, I have seen what rushing things gets you...Nowhere.
My friends would tell you I am loyal to the end while my enemies would tell you that I am an a$$hole. Well, they would lol.

Ok... I may be a stupid guy but, when I read a profile where the woman is adamant about not wanting anyone who is after sex or a one night stand yet their pictures show more of their cleavage than their face... You can't honestly think most guys are going to pursue you because of your mind, can you?

Personally, I don't like one night stands but, what can I do when they tell me that one night is all they can stand? (insert sarcasm for those who are humor challenged)

A good sharp wit, sense of humor, a dog (or animal) enthusiast and over 35 (or at least acts like it) are things I look for in a woman & I am most likely to have a lot in common with.

I would attempt to navigate around a first date by asking if it is okay to move things along up to say, the 8th date. At which point, we should both know that since I am a guy (meaning an idiot), I would most likely screw something up by the 8th date. Thus, you would be free to break up with me and be all the wiser for it!
However, if an actual date is desired... How about something simple and informal at a coffee shop or somewhere you can get away from quickly once you realize you could have done better! lol
Oh yeah... Ladies please... If you happen to meet a guy and you don't feel the connection, feel free to just tell us that. Bluntness is usually the only hint us men are likely to pick up on. But, suddenly having your sitter text message you that you need to go home immediately because of your kid(s), is really obvious you don't want to be there and is much more insulting than telling us, "Ummm I really don't like you so, I am going to leave." Seriously lol.
